Delicious breakfast with very friendly service. The Nutella-stuffed French toast was a particular highlight, as were the brownies offered as a fundraiser for a local animal shelter.

Cute former gas station transformed into a cafe with delicious food. No reservations accepted, so it's first come, first serve. Sign in at the front desk with your name and number of people. The wait wasn't too bad at 9:30am for us as a bigger group of 7. Be sure to check out the cool retro decor. I & my spouse shared a veggie omelette which was very good and a pastrami skillet special. Both are served with toast. The omelette, choose between a side of hash browns or home fried potatoes. Good coffee that they refill as needed. Very friendly service and reasonable prices.

My wife and I live in a nearby community but happened upon this excellent cafe after completing some errands in Springfield one recent morning. We loved the entire experience and will return with every opportunity. Extensive, amazing selection of meal and dessert items regardless of time of day. We enjoyed Eggs Benedict and Raspberry French Toast -- Superb! Everyone very welcoming and attentive. Excellent waitperson. We highly recommend!!

This is a solid place to get breakfast! It does get busy, but the food and service is worth it! I love their stuffed French toast, omelettes and biscuits & gravy! This cafe definitely gives off old school diner vibes...it's awesome! They have a bunch of really cool memorabilia, including planes hanging from their ceilings.

I got their famous raspberry cream cheese French toast it was so good nothing bad about it, the server was very nice and attentive and there's a lot of cool old stuff to look at, as it used to be an auto shop.

Really love this place! The coffee, the food, and the presentation is all great. It's like a cute diner, in an open space and the server was super nice too! We've already been here twice in the same month.

As a connoisseur of cheese sandwiches, I am often frustrated to find them only rarely on menus around town. The Pump Cafe changed that with their amazing, buttery, toasted sandwich full of just-melted cheese. My practice of saving half for later was quickly forgotten and I walked out pleasantly full and happy. Unusually cheerful wait staff were attentive and helpful. All around a great lunch, wishing they were open for dinner. Charming outside seating for a lot of the year in their covered, vined patio.

Cute diner in Springfield! I enjoyed the vibe of the place and my food was good too! I really liked the Pump Omelette. The bacon was crispy and the addition of the avocado was great! Some people on my table didn't like their food as much as I did though, so it seems like some things on the menu are better than others. It also took quite a long time for our food to come out. The speed of service could be improved but I would come back if I was in the area again looking for some breakfast.
